Furkan Özoğlu was born in Ürgüp, Turkey, in 1990. He received the B.E. degree in Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering from the Yildiz Technical University (YTU), Istanbul, Turkey in 2013 and the M.A degree in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems programme from the YTU in 2017. He is currently a PhD. candidate in the same program at YTU since 2018. He has studied on the development of Web and Mobile based GIS. He also works on Machine and Deep Learning. He started his career as an Senior iOS developer in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 2014. Developed mobile applications for public and local government.
